In celebration of National Ag Day, students in grades 4-6 are encouraged to participate in an essay contest, sponsored by Indiana’s Family of Farmers.The essay, themed Agriculture: Food for Life, challenges students to think critically about the important role agriculture plays in their lives and the lives of those around them.

Due January 31st, 2020 - Students across the country are invited to enter the National Ag Day essay and video contest, sponsored by the Agriculture Council of America. This year’s theme is, “Food Brings Everyone to the Table.” National Ag Day’s objective is to celebrate agriculture and to help consumers better understand how farmers and the companies serving them produce abundant.

The Agriculture Council of America has announced the 2019 National Ag Day video and written essay winners. The winners were chosen based on the theme: Agriculture: Food for Life. How does our nation lead the way? The theme presented an opportunity for high school students to address how American agriculture feeds the growing population.

Kentucky Agriculture Commissioner Dr. Ryan Quarles announced the winners of the Kentucky Department of Agriculture’s annual Poster and Essay Contest. The theme of the 2020 contest was “Kentucky Farmers: Ready, Set, Grow.”.

The Agriculture Council of America is hosting an essay contest as part of National Ag Day 2019. The theme is “Agriculture: Food for Life. How Does Our Nation Lead the Way?” This essay contest is divided into two categories of competition: written essay and video essay. Both are national competitions.
